oh man, i already hate this blog post title.  sorry about that.  last week three great music videos arrived.  i’m going to quickly tell you about them, and i’m not going to waste your time with some essay for each one.  i want you to check them all out, so i’ll keep it short!

Bebé Machete- “🌞 (sol)”
earlier this year, we were treated to Bebé Machete’s album There is Not a Metaphor That Can Contain via Hartford’s Funnybone Records.  one of the best tracks (of many best tracks) on the record was 🌞, and it now has a video!  the song, set against the gentrification of Hartford and beyond, is a beautiful battle and act of rebellion.  Bebé Machete’s warm delivery is mirrored in the warm colors of the video, directed by E. Soto and shot by Kewan Harrison.

Zebvlon – “everything impossible”
Zebvlon is a delightful pop band from Ledyard CT (i think). their new album is coming out November 8th, the same day as [REDACTED], so it’s shaping up to be a busy month for all of us! that album, Whispers and Echoes features some awesome artwork via Shelby Talbot, so click through to their bandcamp page to get a glimpse (and pre-order). “Everything Impossible” is a beautiful song, with a charming music video, featuring the band dressed to the 9s running around school. Check it out below!

Sean Henry – “surf song”
Saint Sean’s new album, A Jump from the High Dive, is shaping up to be a killer record. we’ve already gotten a taste of it via the first single, “Rain Rain”, and now we have “Surf Song”, a song that… well… sounds like a surf song. it’s either bold or reckless to put out a surf song at the start of autumn and a rain song in the middle of summer, but the boy wonder has never anything close to predictable. the album comes out on Double Double Whammy, and the video features appearances from the Holy Land Cross (where the video for “The Ants” ends) and mememaster extraordinaire Juulsexual.
