Oh hello, it’s me, your pal, Willy Wonkaverses. We are excited to announce that we are giving away a pair of tickets to the upcoming Bad Bad Hats + Tall Trees show at the Space Ballroom on 10/27 (Wednesday night)! I know you were planning to go anyways, so here’s your shot at scoring some tickets and using the cash you would’ve otherwise used on the tickets to buy silly and ironic things on Wish.com. Entering this competition is simple!
Instructions: All you need to do is visit one of our social media pages and create your own caption to the third panel of the picture above. Just find that meme on our page, and comment with a caption — any caption — of your own making. You get 1 vote for leaving a comment, and you get 2 votes if your comment makes me laugh. You get one caption per social media account, so you could technically max out your chances by joining us on instagram, facebook, and twitter. The deadline to respond is this Friday (10/22) by midnight EST, and we’ll announce the winner (who we will choose at random) the following morning. The other rule is that you must refer to Tall Trees as “Tall Tall Trees” for the night of 10/27, but I’m not sure how we can enforce that just yet.
And that’s it! Easy, right? This is the first time we’ve done a giveaway like this. Normally we’re pretty reticent to do that, but the last time we saw Bad Bad Hats come to the Space Ballroom (Similar Kind and Boyscott also played that night), we had such a wonderful time! Grade A music, Grade A performance, and Grade A+ stage banter. And just a quick disclaimer: ctverses is not being paid for this promotion, we’re seriously just doing it because we love Bad Bad Hats, Tall Trees, and Sarah Stroh at Manic Presents lol.
