reduction plan releases new single “deliver”, as a slap in summer’s face.

oh dang, i’ve heard this song before!  having seen some of reduction plan’s recent live shows, the opening seconds of “deliver” are instantly familiar.  that chugging bass riff, the menacing programmed drums, the perfectly accented guitar line — before daniel manning even opens his mouth, you know what the song is about.  that perfect reflection, between the style and substance of reduction plan’s music, is something i really love — and crave — about the band’s music.

today, post-trash –a personal favorite of mine — premieres “deliver”, so you can head over there to stream the song and read jonathan bannister’s great write-up!  this is the second song from the upcoming (ae) maeth, reduction plan’s upcoming album that comes out september 20th on redscroll records / dune altar.  if that sounds familiar, it’s because i gushed about it here last month when the first single debuted.  if these two singles are any indication (along with reduction plan’s previous records), (ae) maeth will be the perfect way to usher summer out the door and welcome the chilly embrace of fall.

you can, and should, pre-order (ae) maeth here.
