Each week, we’ll plug one show that we excites us. (We think every show posted on our Gig Calendar is worth checking out, but we wanted to spotlight one in particular).
This week’s Gig of the Week(end) is: Zipper, Space Camp, Grim Business, Infinity Land, and Burning Hand (11/27) at Microbe Manor in Killingly. There is a $10 entry fee. Doors are at 5PM, and the music starts at 6PM. The venue is indoors and all ages; DM organizers for the address.
What’s the hype? Burn off the calories you gained the past few days by sweating it out at this rager. Some of our favorite loud, brash, noisy bands in Connecticut are here. Burning Hand’s self-titled demo has been one of our favorite surprises of the year; Space Camp always puts on an incredible show, blowing my mind and eardrums in equal measure; Infinity Land is also a new band with an impressive debut in 2021. All of this for Zipper, who is releasing their EP Spite (you can find it now on bandcamp!). Abrasive, nihilistic punk!
