Later this month, THE//MOON is gonna hit you again with MIGHT AS WELL BE RAVING, the new full-length record released through Firstname Lastname Records (formerly known as Prozaq Records). “YOUTH CHASER 333” has many THE//MOON signatures: strong emphasis on percussion, dark ambient skyline, and tension strong enough you could cut it with a knife. Go ahead, give it a listen and tell me the stretched synths and distorted vocals don’t give you a mild panic attack. And that’s the balance THE//MOON is so great at striking: their music is both very, very cool, and also very, very atramentous. That’s right, I broke out “atramentous” for this very occasion. “YOUTH CHASER 333” adds gas to the already fiery ink of CRAWL IN HERE…, and we can’t wait to hear the rest of the tracks on the new album.
