if you’ve been following sarah golley on instagram, you probably saw the creepy-crawlies she was posting. each spider or insect with a number beside it: a countdown. and now that the countdown is over, golley has announced her new album, as we crawl, to be released on september 14th, 2019.
we’ve already gotten a sneak peak of as we crawl back in early may! golley released the single “on the treadmill of thought”, which is a really outstanding, brainwarping loopfest. if as we crawl is anything like what we’ve heard so far, folks, we are indeed in for a treat.
as we crawl is sarah golley’s second full-length album. produced alongside sammy wags. if you haven’t heard golley’s music before, she combines the organic (a beautiful voice with jazz training) with the synthetic (loops, samples), to create something really special. pre-order information has not been formally announced yet, but keep a close eye on golley’s bandcamp page (just go ahead and give it a “follow” so you’ll get the notification when it’s up).
