in this very special episode, we talk to the recording artist and Fake Four label head Ceschi. to let you behind the curtain for this episode, it has two parts: the part you are about to hear was recorded just a day ago, and the second half was recorded back in mid-March. back in March, we talked with Ceschi about a live show that was scheduled at the State House in New Haven, and because of coronavirus, it was indefinitely postponed. but if you are like me and have missed Ceschi’s live shows in the past few months, he is playing a show this Saturday, October 3 [2020] at 2PM at The Klein in Bridgeport. The bill is stacked, with Ceschi, Phat Astronaut, Mandala, and The Hooch playing, and it’s safe and outdoors too — there’s a very limited number of tickets for spacing reasons. So you should probably go online right now to theklein.org to grab your ticket before they’re all gone. you will not want to miss it, i promise you. okay, so in this episode with Ceschi, i talk to him about all sorts of stuff: his new music. his philosophy about songwriting and performing live. the Fake Four artists and label. and which song off of his last album was recorded in one take.
