Noah Silvestry is a singer, songwriter, musician, engineer, and producer who records under the name Luke Ellingson.  Silvestry recently engineered the excellent Window Seat album and Sargasso EP, and even more recently than that, released a collaborative track with Daniprobably for the Funnybone Records Room for You compilation.  In this podcast episode, we talk to Noah about his move to New Haven, why Philly Cheesesteaks are a lie, and being anti-racist in indie rock.

This episode is formatted a little differently than previous podcast entries.  Noah and I initially recorded an interview ahead of his album Like Wires Humming, that was set to be released in mid-July.  He pushed back the release of his album (listen to find out why!), so we temporarily shelved that episode.  But with his new song with Daniprobably, “Prepared to be Bored”, coming out, we thought it would be a good time to check in, talk about what’s on his mind, and spread the word of the Room for You compilation (which is on its way to raise $5,000 for three great nonprofit organizations!).
