this past wednesday, the u.s. house of representatives voted to pass two articles of impeachment against president trump. it was a history day, but if you were watching cspan, then my friends, you missed the real news. Bridgeroom is back! and Posture & the Grizzly!
chris otero (who has been playing in Big Fang recently) just released two songs from the upcoming Zooey Graduates, which will be out on january 31st. oh shit, we’re having such a stacked january. we’ve got new Bridgeroom in addition to Them Airs, Eel People, Portrait Party, Low Ceillings, and [REDACTED]. it’ll be a great month, so be sure to save up those christmas monies you get from grandma and grandpa this christmas/hanukkah. anyways, the two songs Bridgeroom teased us with are “Greenwoods” (with Grayson Jeffries on drums and stuff) and “The Wallet Song” (with Joe Russo on drums). personally, i’m a little partial to “The Wallet Song” (i love a good build + refrain), but you should check both them out and see what you think!
in addition to this, Posture & the Grizzly are back! it’s been over two years since their last show, so you will absolutely want to come check out their show on january 11th at mac650. it’s unclear if this is a one-off or if they’re back to release new music. so yes: this may be the only chance you get if you never got a chance to see them in 2017. they’ll be playing with Perennial, Math the Band (RI), and Teenage Halloween (NJ). thank you brandon rizzo.
