Ditch Boys are releasing their new EP, Saboteur tomorrow (3/13), but I broke into the Ditch Boys HQ Vault and stole the title track for you to hear right now.  You can stream it now on bandcamp ahead of the EP’s release, but I will warn you about something.  After I listened to “Saboteur” for the first time, I found myself wearing an awesome leather jacket.  I have no idea how it got on my body, let alone in my house.  That’s the kind of music Ditch Boys make, though: punk that makes you feel a part of something cool, even if you are like me and kinda a dweeb.

Saboteur follows last year’s Seven Minutes with Ditch Boys, which we loved. This new EP, however, is even better. Take a listen to “Saboteur” and you’ll hear why. It’s a catchy throwback — a version of punk music that is lovelorn and rowdy, both all-style and all-substance. If you’re not pumped within the first few seconds with Eric Mooney’s drums and James Dorsey’s bass, then you just don’t have a pulse. You’ll immediately recognize the “Saboteur” if you’ve caught any of their live shows in the past months — Mike Holler belting out the chorus or Marco Carotenuto’s blistering guitar solo are peak Ditch Boys. The recorded version of “Saboteur” keeps all of that live energy you’d expect from one of their sets in New Haven.

“Saboteur” was written by Holler and Carotenuto, produced and mixed by Holler, and recorded and mastered with Pharaoh Recordings and Sans Serif Recordings respectively. Check out the song below and be sure to pre-order the EP so that you can hear the full thing at midnight!
