poster credit: Chris Chew. got a taste for great visual and audio art? drop by the Black Art Matters art fair today in New Haven at 50 Orange St. there’s a great line-up of musicians and poets from 1PM to 7PM today (8/28), featuring some of our very favorite songwriters: Chad Browne-Springer, Zaaqqara, Thabisa, Ro Godwyn and more. and hey, if you stick around for the end, you’ll get to see the live debut of MightyMoonChew, the supergroup composed of Mooncha, Mark Da Mighty, and Chris Chew. they’ve been teasing us on instagram, so it’ll be great to see them in person. the event has been organized by Dyme Ellis who occasionally shows up in our music roundups as Dyme 203. the facebook event page (because this shit is official) is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1884380095031637.
