woozles finally finds a home for all of those singles they’ve released in 2019: emoji for a bee 🐝

last year, Woozles (Connor Ryan) released half a dozen singles, including a auto-tuned ballad inspired by zz top (“losing touch”), a rocker with gameboy synthesizers (“it’s me”), and a piss-take of mac demarco (“made 2 stream”).  today, Woozles announced Emoji of a Bee 🐝, the full-length album that will be the new home of those six singles.  the album is due out march 13th in the year of our lord 2020, and will be released by Feels So Reel records stateside and Galaxy Train internationally.

but you can pre-order it right now for the price of $4.20 on the Woozles bandcamp homepage.

and if you are wondering if the title of Woozles’ new album has an emoji in it, why yes, yes it does.  of course Woozles is no stranger to antagonizing album title conventions; you may remember last year when the Kidz Bop lawyers sent him a cease-and-desist order for Kidz Bopz vol. 666 (it is now known as Songs to Infringe on Trademarks 2 on spotify, hehe).

anyways, i’m super excited for Emoji of a Bee 🐝, and if you haven’t heard any of those previously noted singles, check them all out below!  and if you made it this far in the post, i’ll make an observation: i don’t think “kissing ghosties” was ever formally released as a single.  “losing touch” was, but it is not previewable here on bandcamp, which leads me to believe that there was a mistake made.  but hey, i’m not going to warn Connor about this, because i want you to hear it early before he corrects this!
