earlier this year, Bandcamp waived their platform fee for a day, allowing artists to take 100% of the profits from sales of their music. it was a cool way to support musicians during a time of crisis. it was so cool, in fact, that Bandcamp is doing it again today on May 1! even if all you can afford right now is $1, every little bit helps the artists and songwriters you love and care about right now. to put that in perspective, earning $1 on spotify is like raking in 320 streams of one song. so, if you want, you can stream the same song over 300 times, or you can simply drop four-quarters in the bandcamp machine. many of them have released songs and singles today, so check in on old favorites!
